Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today you might have noticed people wearing lots of Green. You may have noticed that the grocery stores are stocked up on Cornbeef and Cabbage. You may even notice that people have been indulging in the drinking of beer more than usual. When we observe these things we remember... "oh yeah... it's St. Patrick's Day!" Whether you are Irish or not most people get pretty excited about the idea of wearing green and "finding gold at the end of the rainbow". You think of Lucky Charms, celtic music, and leprechauns! All seems a bit crazy yet it is always a good time (at least to me).

I wonder... what would St. Patrick think of all this? Yes, St. Patrick's day is named after an actual person who had quite the influence on the people of Ireland at one point. Instead of me writing details, I suggest you check out this short biography about St. Patrick and learn a little bit about the man this day is named after. He isn't called "Saint" for nothing. Now for some fun! I thought about rainbows and thought about this video. I'm sure some of you have seen it. This guy was not on drugs or drunk, just really emotional and pumped about this rainbow. I love that someone can become that amazed at God's creation that he starts to question..."what does this mean!?!?" It is also hilarious....Enjoy:
