Food for Thought...

Copyright Kate Kirchner Photography

Today in Oswald Chambers devotional, "My Utmost for his Highest", I read about loving one another. He talks about loving people who seem difficult to love. I can truthfully say I have less than a handful of people that I can think of that are hard for me to love... but even one person is too much in God's eyes. We need to love unconditionally. Oswald talks about how we so often try to force loving someone but are very quickly tired and frustrated of this.

"The Lord... is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish..." (2 Peter 3:9)

Am I longsuffering? Do I care that much about the person I'm "trying" so hard to love?

I will leave you with these thoughts:

Chambers says,
"The knowledge that God has loved me beyond all limits will compel me
to go into the world to love others in the same way...
Am I prepared to be identified so closely with the Lord Jesus that His life and His sweetness will be continually poured out through me? Neither natural love nor God's divine love will remain and grow in me unless it is nurtured. Love is spontaneous, but it has to be maintained through discipline."

Tummy Time & More...

So after each of Zeke's feedings we try to have "waketime" where we do something stimulating with him that will help with his development. For example we read him a book, play music and sing to him, swing on the porch swing, go for a walk, or let him have some "tummy time" by himself (supervised of course, hehe). So here are some recent pictures of tummy time and some other random pics too.
